1’11 x 2’2

This piece was once part of an old saddle bag (known as khorjins in Iran) used by tribal nomadic weavers to carry their belongings on the backs of their animals - perhaps a donkey or a camel. This fantastic piece has a fragment of the flatweave woven portion still attached to it. 


This collector’s piece comes ready to hang on the wall and can also of course be used as a floor covering (rug).
