Shipping:
Sapere ships! For free! For items shipped within the US, shipping to your home or office is complimentary. I do ask that you pay return shipping, which varies based on the weight of your rug. Simply reach out for an estimate if you’re curious about return costs!
Returns for rugs purchased on my website:
To give you time to view the rug in your space, Sapere Collection Vintage and Antique Rugs accepts returns for up to 3 days after the rug is delivered to you. If you initiate a return on a rug from my collection within 3 days of it’s arrival to you, and that rug arrives to me in original condition and is shipped back to me within 5 days of its arrival to you, you’ll receive a full refund, minus return shipping and a 2% restocking fee if your rug is over $4500. Rugs under $4500 do not have a restocking fee. If you return a rug in original condition within 10 days, you’ll receive store credit for the amount of your rug minus return shipping and the above restocking fee. After 10 days, all sales made via the website, saperecollection.com, are final. To initiate a return, simply contact Sapere for a return shipping label and instructions.
Return process!
- Send me an email at kelly@saperecollection.com and I'll give you instructions and estimate on the cost of your return.
- I'll walk you through the packaging process (roll it like a tootsie roll!)
- I'll create a label for you, usually via FedEx.
- I can schedule a pickup for you on your door step, if you'd like
- Once I receive the rug and ensure that it is in original condition, I'll initiate your refund or in-store credit coupon within 2 days of the rug's arrival to me!
Curious about the restocking fee? When I process a credit card through my store, I’m charged a 2.9% processing fee. When you return a rug, I don’t get that processing fee back 🥺. I charge a 2% restocking fee on rugs over $4500 to offset that cost for me!
Returns for sourced pieces:
Special sourcing projects are all unique! If I am sourcing for you, I’ll let you know exactly what to expect for each rug sourced – how long it will take to arrive, if there’s any approval period or unique return policy.
